No excuses



I love this guy, Eric Ripert, and whoever came up with the idea for this piece. It's a conceit I've wanted to read about for a long time: throw a master chef into a regular (read: tiny) New York apartment kitchen, let him order some FreshDirect, and see what he comes up with. It's awesome. Plus, he drinks a little Patron every day. I love this guy.

I love Eric! I was planning to just lurk around after seeing a link to your blog from the New Reader, but I felt compelled to post because Eric is my absolute hero!! Everything he makes is so masterful, and the attention to detail is amazing. Le Bernardin is definitely the best restaurant in Manhattan, in my opinion.
