Riding in on the C this morning, I was immediately struck by this fella dozing on his way home from a night of stylish debauchery. Lifted straight from the pages of Andre3000, first, his bowler was pressed wonderfully askew onto his head. His suit, well-tailored (except for the hole of questionable origin at his crotch, revealing colorful silk boxers), vested, charcoal-colored with the faintest pinstripes, and the most revolutionary moment, not one but TWO ties, simultaneously adorning his neck, a gesture that threw into question the entire tradition and signification of the cravat. Marvelous.
