Randomly called up R. to hang out and we went to Habana Outpost down the block, a new spot that took over this vacant lot and turned it into a solar-powered restaurant/flea market. There's a cool Mexican fountain in the middle now and a horribly designed beer distribution system, but, BUT, tonight (and perhaps every Sunday night) they projected a movie on the side of the building next door. Well, first they showed some amazing amazing footage of Al Green singing, and then some Prince concert videos, and then, The Warriors. Wonderful evening, spectacular people watching, beautiful way to spend a hot Sunday night.
