In the age of baby-dropping, phone-throwing, couch-jumping, and gratuitous affair-staging, watching a movie like Team America is like throwing the AC on at full blast on a day like today. I wasn't the biggest fan of South Park but I appreciate the genius of Parker and Stone, a genius for unabashedly blowing the cult of celebrity to gory little bits.
Worth watching just for the puppet sex scene, but also Kim Jong-Il's musical numbers and David Rockwell's sets. Their use of puppetry is sheer genius, I say.
